DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS

VIDOVDAN is upon us, St. Vitus Day, June 28th, when we remember St. Lazar of Kosovo. Vidovdan is also the Slava of the Serbian National Defense Council of America.

On Sunday, June 29th, before the customary banquet and program at the Great Hall of the Serbian Orthodox Monastery New Gracanica, Third Lake, IL, there will be a Divine Liturgy followed by Parastos for all the Kosovo Fighters who gave their lives at the altar of Serbdom and chose the Heavenly Kingdom over the earthly one. There are many Serbs and friends living near Chicago, Illinois, in Indiana and Wisconsin, as well as in more distant areas of the United States of America. We are inviting all of you to come and join us for this worthy event. Let us light a candle for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice so that our name would continue to live for future Serbian generations.
