We are thrilled to announce a historic milestone—St. Sava Academy has officially signed an agreement to acquire the St. Paul Lutheran Church and School property on Canfield Road! The contract was signed today, effective January 27, the Feast of St. Sava

This acquisition secures a permanent and well-equipped home for our Academy, ensuring its mission for generations to come. The proximity to our Cathedral is a blessing, and it’s fitting that this milestone coincides with our celebration of St. Sava, whose legacy continues to inspire Serbian churches and schools.
We are deeply grateful to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Rev. Todd Roberts, and their leadership for their cooperation. We’ve also agreed to lease back their sanctuary as part of this process. Special thanks to Fr. Dragan, our dedicated teachers, parents, volunteers, and to Petar Vezmar and attorney Milos Markovic for their invaluable contributions!
We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our donors, supporters, and the wider community for their generosity and commitment to St. Sava Academy. Your prayers, contributions, and encouragement have made this dream a reality, and we are truly grateful for your unwavering support.
St. Sava Academy serves over 170 students, building a strong foundation of faith and knowledge. We humbly ask for your prayers and support to help make this dream a reality, as we embark on this once-in-a-generation opportunity.
Let’s work together to make this vision come true through prayers, contributions, and volunteer efforts.
On behalf of the School Board and School Community,
V. Rev. Darko Spasojevic, PhD
