We, the members and delegates of the Serbian National Defense, gathered on Vidovdan, June 28, 2025, at the regular Annual Congress in Chicago, Illinois, adopt this
RESOLUTION
Serbian people and all citizens of Serbia who share good and bad times with them!
Serbian youth has awakened our Fatherland and all patriotic Serbs and Serbian men and women around the world! Despite decades of killing, both physical and spiritual, despite decades of robbery, deportation and oppression of everything that is honorable, fair and normal in our people, it has been shown that just, patriotic and conscientious people are still the majority, although it seemed the opposite to some. Serbian children have initiated what many considered impossible. They shook the regime of Aleksandar Vučić, who committed national high treason, and caused tears of joy among all who think well of Serbia. They shook the regime that represents a metastasis of the cancer that our Fatherland acquired back in 1945. Our dear students and high school students stood up bravely and with dignity, risking their lives, because they are in constant danger of being run over by cars, beaten with baseball bats, blackmailed, and on top of all that, being declared traitors and foreign mercenaries by evildoers in their Udba style.
The Serbian National Defense (SND), as the main patriotic institution of the Serbian people in the Diaspora, was established with the historical mission of helping Serbia and the Serbian people always, and especially when our dear Serbs are in the most difficult times. The Serbian National Defense Council of America, founded by the famous scientist Mihajlo Pupin, has remained faithful to the eternal vows of our people and their best sons and daughters since its inception in 1914 – the vows “with faith in God for the King and the Fatherland” and “Freedom or death”. It has remained faithful to its people and their freedom, its ancient and proven institution of monarchy, faithful to our Karađorđević dynasty, whose heir Prince Philip publicly and courageously stands with his people and his pupils and students; faithful to the Serbia that has awakened today and risen against tyranny. We do not run away from that historical mission even today, but on the contrary, with full will and strength we stand with our tormented people! Our motto has been and remains in every difficult situation – Serbs United (Srbi na okup!)!
The Serbian National Defense supports the student protests and will do everything it can to help its people find their path to freedom and justice.
A ll those who are directly responsible for the current catastrophic situation in which the people and the state find themselves, because they violated the Constitution of Serbia on several counts, for endangering its sovereignty and territorial integrity; primarily for betraying Kosovo and Metohija and extinguishing the last traces of Serbian statehood in four Serbian municipalities in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, for the practical and de facto introduction of Serbia into the criminal NATO pact, for the unprecedented plunder of the state budget and the sale of Serbia’s natural resources to foreigners, as well as for other offenses and crimes that are difficult to enumerate – must be brought to justice according to the Constitution and laws.
Thanks to the relentless campaign of hatred and conflict-provoking carried out by the ruling regime, Serbia is on the brink of a civil war, which must be avoided, and we therefore demand that the ruling regime urgently dissolve the National Assembly and call early parliamentary elections, otherwise it will bear full responsibility for any possible conflicts and bloodshed. We appeal to all patriotic Serbian intellectuals and public figures of unblemished character, who have never participated in any previous government, to come together and create the conditions for holding fair and transparent elections where parliamentary seats will be awarded to people and not political parties, as well as the immediate and complete opening of all secret files of Tito’s infamous police force UDBA, as well as the current BIA, in order to conduct a thorough lustration of all institutions and public figures.
For almost half a century, the Serbian National Defense has been searching for the murderers of Dragiša Kašiković and nine-year-old Ivanka Milošević, whose innocent, martyred blood still cries out for justice. Given that the ruling regime in Serbia has banned the opening of secret UDBA files until year 2060, thereby proving itself to be a continuator of anti-Serbian, Titoist ideology, as well as for all the atrocities it has committed and is still committing against the Serbian people, the Serbian National Defense is severing all relations and contacts with the embassy and consulate of the Republic of Serbia, as well as with representatives of that same Titoist system, whose officials are declared persona non-grata in the premises and at all celebrations and events organized by the SND.
We also appeal to all honorable and patriotic officers, police officers and those who work in the security services to stand by their disenfranchised and suffering people, because they did not swear an oath to the ruling regime, but to the state of Serbia and its people as the bearer and guarantor of its sovereignty. The traitor and psychiatric power-hungry patient Aleksandar Vučić carried out multiple coups d’état and subordinated all institutions to himself, including the Serbian Orthodox Church, and is therefore an illegitimate president, usurper and hardened dictator who is now ready for any crime and misdeed, just to stay in power. You, gentlemen Serbian officers, bear a great legal and historical responsibility and have an obligation to defend your people from the terror and persecution of the traitorous regime. Otherwise, you will identify with those guards of the death camps of the infamous NDH, who were also “just doing their job”.
It is a completely devastating fact, which we announce with a heavy heart, that the Patriarch and some bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church are openly and publicly providing political support to the supreme leader of the regime, writing shameful eulogies to him that border on worship and that proclaim Serbian youth, Serbian students, to be “ustashas” and “foreign mercenaries” carrying out the so-called “colored revolution”, while condemning and persecuting priests and monks whose only sin is that they stood by their people in their fight for justice and bare survival. We also do not forget that under pressure from the ruling regime, autocephaly was so easily granted to the Titoist creation – the so-called “Macedonian Orthodox Church”, thereby renouncing Old Serbia and all the Nemanjić shrines that exist there, as well as the Serbian people who, despite all the pressures and persecutions, survive in their centuries-old hearths.
No one will escape the judgment of God, the judgment of the people, or the judgment of history. It is ours to say this clearly and loudly today so that all those who have sinned against the Serbian people, as well as those who bravely stood up against this intolerable tyranny, would hear us, so that Serbia would finally become a free and orderly, legal state, which will work in the interests of its citizens, regardless of religious or ethnic affiliation.
